Tension Meters

Textrol Laboratories offers several different tension meters in the following ranges:

• 5g to 100g
• 20g to 300g
• 30g to 500g
• 75g to 1000g
• 100g to 1500g
• 1800g +

Our compact tension meter occupies only a 2 3/4" H x 5" W x 4 1/4" D area to fit in the most compact areas.  This small unit is big on accuracy (+/- 1%).  Available up to 1000 gram capacity.  The meter is held in place by two #10-32UNF taps (.75 deep) located in its underside.  Available in 24, 110, and 220 VAC power input.

Our super heavy duty tension meter is designed for tensions over 1000 grams, but is also available in all tension ranges; also accurate to +/- 1 % of tension monitored.  It is slightly larger than the compact model (5" H x 5 1/2" W x 4 1/2" D) and mounts on a metal fabricated foot pedestal.  This unit is available with an optional electronic feedback signal for remote monitoring.  Input power is 110VAC and 220VAC.

All these meters can be used in any horizontal or vertical strand travel application.  They are calibrated at the factory per the application (must be predetermined when ordered).  Custom wide rollers are also available for wide or flat strand requirements.
