An Accumeter is a device that will add tension as well as measure/meter the amount of product running through it. An Accumeter contains an accutense brake module accompanied with an electronic PCB surface mounted to it. These units can have programmable or non-programmable PCBs for pulse counting requirements as well as optional stop motion signal capabilities. Tension ranges available for Accumeters are the same as an Accutense (see ranges).
An Accupulse is a device used only to count pulses or register the amount of product being processed (no tension changing capability).
Both devices above can have pulse generation divisions of:
Measurement of the product can be in yards or meters.
Incoming and/or outgoing electronic signals are by multi-conductor wiring or 9 pin D-Sub connections as required.
